The RFQ LINK ID process was pioneered in the

Manufacturing industry, but is coming soon to other industries!

For example, an ID starting with "RFQ-LINK-ID-(date field)-MFG-" should be used for RFQs in the manufacturing industry, and so on. If an industry tag below has a clickable URL address, then you can generate the associated ID.

If it's not clickable, then check back soon!

(After clicking the URL, bookmark that page to quickly generate the industry specific ID in the future!)

NOTE! At this time, you cannot create an RFQ LINK ID from the mobile site, please connect via Desktop.

Why did we choose KODAK as an example? RFQ Link ID: Your Procurement Snapshot System!

Each RFQ Link ID is like the shutter click of a Kodak camera—allowing you to capture a precise, time-stamped snapshot of an RFQ sourcing moment in time. Just as Kodak helped the world preserve memories with clarity and permanence, RFQ Link IDs preserve procurement intent with equal precision.

But this isn’t just a static image. It’s a searchable, intelligent ID, like a picture frame—indexed by AI tools that can retrieve, analyze, and contextualize every RFQ like a digital photo archive. When a buyer tags an RFQ with KOD, for example, it’s more than branding—it’s metadata. It signals to the system, “This belongs to the Kodak ecosystem. Apply relevant filters, specs, and sourcing logic.”

RFQ Link IDs act like procurement negatives: structured, retrievable, and ready to be developed into actionable insights. AI tools scan these unique ID snapshots—turning each RFQ into a searchable moment in time. Whether it’s MFG for manufacturing or PRT for the Printing industry, each unique ID that you generate and embed into your RFQ workflow becomes a lens that you use to focus and eliminate sourcing blur.

In a world of fragmented spreadsheets, systems and inbox chaos, RFQ Link IDs bring order, visibility, and recall—like a smart camera that not only captures the moment, but knows exactly where to find it later.

Disclaimer
Kodak is referenced purely as a metaphorical example to illustrate how RFQ Link IDs function—like capturing a snapshot of an RFQ in motion. RFQ Link is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Kodak or any other brand mentioned. Any branded tag, such as "KOD", is user-defined and illustrative only
